The video was published the day of the murder of Martin Luther king, which occurred in 1968, then took to the streets thousands of protesters. But the audience protested the content of the video. They felt that Pepsi exploited the fight against racial and gender inequality.

After such harsh criticism, the representatives of Pepsi has removed the video from Youtube and apologized: “We are unable to convey your idea, and we’re sorry. We didn’t want to downplay the importance of serious social problems. We remove the video and prevent it from spreading further. We also apologize to Kendall Jenner because she found herself in that position”.
