The US is waging an economic war with China, Beijing’s policy on the DPRK issue, just a distraction.
This was stated by chief adviser to the President of the United States on strategic issues Steve Bannon in an interview with The American Prospect.
“It’s in all their literature. They are not shy to talk about what they do. One of us will be the hegemon in 25 or 30 years, and it will be they, if we continue to follow the same path. In Korea, they just distract us. This is a show,” said he.
Bannon believes economic confrontation with China is the most important in U.S. policy.
“We need to be maniacally focused on it”, — quotes the magazine of his word.
According to the adviser to trump, ten years can be a point of refraction, after which the United States if they continue their current policy, will not be able to compete with China.
As writes the edition, the plan of action’bannon involves an appeal to section 301 of the trade Act of 1974 that allows the President to impose including sanctions against countries that violate international trade agreements. The plan aims to combat the practice of China to copy the technology of American corporations operating in China.
We will remind, the President of the United States Donald trump signed a Memorandum directing the trade representative of the United States Robert Leitheiser to find out whether China violates the rights of U.S. intellectual property.
