Canada will give Ukraine of 6.89 million. assistance for the implementation of several projects in various fields.
This was stated by the Minister of international trade of Canada Chrystia Freeland.
“Since the crisis in 2013, Canada was at the forefront in the international community’s assistance to Ukraine. Canada applauds incarnate in Ukraine, the reforms and hopes that these new projects will help to solve the urgent issues of security and peacekeeping needs of Ukraine, while the Ukrainians are building a secure, stable and prosperous future,” said Freeland.
In foreign Affairs Canada adds that canadian funds will be focused on five initiatives, mostly related to the monitoring of human rights, conflict resolution, landmine awareness, their detection and neutralization.
“Canada is unequivocal in its support for the people of Ukraine. We continue to call for the protection of his rights, to increase safety and respect for the integrity of the borders of Ukraine”, – stressed the foreign Ministry.
We will remind, Chrystia Freeland on Thursday took part in the conference “Opportunities in Ukraine” in London, which reiterated its support for Ukraine’s efforts in implementation of reforms and welcomed the progress of Kiev on the way.
