Ukraine insists on immediate release of the liberation of the hostages, said the first Vice-speaker of the Parliament.
Today the representatives of the International Committee of the red cross managed to convey the parcel in Makiyivka colony for Ukrainian hostages, but the organization’s representatives are unable personally to meet with them. About this in his Facebook said today the first Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Gerashchenko.
“Parcel handed “leadership” of the colony and so-called representatives of the ORDO. For the boys, the ICRC once again not allowed, again categorically refused admission to our hostages,” – said Gerashchenko.
She recalled that in all the years of the war the Red cross was able only twice to transfer the parcel to the hostages.
“But never the ICRC was not allowed in prison and the hostages,” – said Gerashchenko.
First Vice-speaker said that the policies of the European countries are shocked by this violation of international humanitarian law by terrorists.
Gerashchenko added that as of today, hostage to 132 are considered to be Ukrainian.
“Ukraine insists on immediate release of the liberation of the hostages. The President raised this issue at meetings in Washington, Paris, Berlin, and we hope our international partners will insist in the dialogue with Russia, security policy and humanitarian, the ecological component of the Minsk agreements is a priority,” – said Gerashchenko.
