Citizens of Ukraine are spending more money to buy food, alcoholic drinks and cigarettes.
Ukrainians began to spend more money to buy food, alcoholic drinks and cigarettes. This is evidenced by the State statistics service.
It is indicated that the average total expenditure per household in the first half of 2018, amounted to 8 thousand 150 UAH, which is by 18% more than in the same period of 2017. With an average monthly spending per person was 3 863 thousand UAH.
“Food (including eating out) household spent 50% of all costs. This is 0.7% more than in the first half of 2017”, – stated in the message.
At the same time, on the purchase of non-food goods and services (excluding spending on food outside the home) household has sent 39% of total expenditure.
In turn, the expenditure on alcoholic beverages and tobacco products amounted to 1.2% and 2.1% of household expenditure, respectively. In the first half of 2017, the figure was 1.1% and 1.9%, respectively.
