The accident occurred about 10 a.m. local time on route A of the new York subway with a train going South. According to preliminary information, the train hit the tunnel wall, resulting in a partially derailed.
In the video, filmed from a helicopter, you can see that on the street in the area of the accident has several emergency crews. At the site there are fire trucks and specialized cars of the urgent help.
As explained rescuers, 34 people were injured because of the incident and received first aid on the spot. Firefighters later confirmed that after the accident was the smoke tunnel, but the reports of open flames or fire were reported.
In the first half of Tuesday the underground movement in the branches A, B, C and D was suspended in both directions at a single site. The cause of the incident is not yet completely installed.
