Specialists of the company Armis Labs has discovered a virus that can infect the device via Bluetooth.
The virus, dubbed Blueborne, allows you to control computers and mobile devices, with infection, it’s enough only Bluetooth enabled, according to a press release from the company. The procedure of hacking is only about 10 seconds.
“BlueBorne can be exploited for purposes such as cyber-espionage, theft of data, implementation ransomware” — said the expert Armis Labs.
Discovered vulnerabilities are present on all devices with Android, Linux, Windows, and all versions of iOS up to the tenth. Potentially vulnerable to BlueBorne are almost all Bluetooth device, number in the world reaches 8.2 billion, noted in Armis Labs.
