A unique phenomenon: a landfill turned into a glass beach. Photo

Ussuri Bay in the years of Soviet power has become, unfortunately, in the real dump for used bottles of vodka, beer and soda.

But mother nature has performed a miracle, reworking pieces of colored glass glittering in the sun “stones” and now the former landfill is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Decades of sea waves carefully objecively pieces of colored glass bottles closed area, and now tourists are willing to pay to see this miracle with my own eyes.

Before Ussuri Bay was considered unsafe for tourists, but now has received the status of protected area – “Glass beach” is very popular among the local population, and tourists. In fairness it should be noted that Glass beach is a rare phenomenon, but not the only one, there is something similar in California.
