American Peter Santanello that six weeks lived in the village of Osipenko, Berdyansk district, told why it is important to appreciate Ukraine.
According to Peter, Ukraine is similar to the old, old Bicycle. “I climbed on this bike and felt that even if more pedaling, it’s faster still does not go. He decides what to do. Travels at the same speed. My speedy road bike is very similar to America. There is productivity, there is a purpose. Have something to strive for in the future. And it comes back quickly, but at the same time, often lost the moment,” he says.
“And in Ukraine, this old Bicycle on which I went, he was slow, he was hard working… As in Ukraine: its future is unknown. You can’t plan ahead. But this existence forces the rider to observe what is happening around them. To be here now,” draws an analogy American.
He adds. that life in the Ukrainian village complex. “But on the other hand, you just need each other, you need a hot day and the lake. And that’s all. And it can be the best moments of your life,” he says.
Peter says it’s difficult to explain, but in Ukraine there is depth. “There is now, there is wealth. Not material – it will not see here. This is the message that is sent to the world,” he says.
“What is special is the people. I met people here with big hearts, wonderful people,” he says.
