Two men hospitalized.
June 24 at 17:49 on the highway “Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dolzhansky” near market “Gloss” accident with participation of cars of Volkswagen, Opel Vectra and Mercedes Vito.
The incident was reported in the press service of the regional police.
According to law enforcement, 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, heading towards the car, crashed into a van, which from the impact drove into the oncoming lane and collided with Opel Vectra. The accident resulted in injuries to the culprit, and 44-year-old driver and eight-passenger Opel. They were taken to the hospital, however, despite the efforts of doctors to save the boy failed.
The fact of the accident opened criminal proceedings as regards 2 articles 286 of the criminal code of Ukraine (“infringement of rules of traffic safety, entailed death of the person”). If the driver’s fault will be proved, to it threatens till eight years of imprisonment. Damaged cars towed away.
