One person was killed and eight were injured in a traffic accident on the highway Lviv-Uzhgorod, near the village of Strilkovychi samborski district.
It is reported by the Department of civil protection of Lviv regional state administration.
According to authorities, the accident occurred on Saturday at 21.40. Faced passenger car and Volkswagen minibus of the Fiat Ducato.
As a result of collision in Sambir district hospital was delivered to nine people. From traumatized died in hospital a 55-year-old woman. Five out of eight of the victims were children aged 2 to 16 years. Four hospitalized in serious condition. They are in resuscitation of regional hospital.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
