On the night of June 13 the municipal police of Riga received a call in a residential house in Imanta.
Residents complained of strange noises on the landing and turning out the lights. Arrived on the scene, law enforcement officers found a young man with no shoes who came into one of the apartments.
The man said he recently started to rent this apartment, but no lease agreements and house keys couldn’t show. Later, police noticed a wallet on the floor and asked him about his affiliation. The man also could not give a clear answer to the question.
Then one of the officers walked around the apartment and one of them found a sleeping man. They turned out to be the real owner who confirmed that he did not know the attacker. He also said that he had discovered the loss of the purse.
The scene called for officers of the State police of Latvia, which gave 40-year-old robber.
