The young Rugby player was disqualified for ten years for the shocking act.
Player of the Australian Rugby team “the Maitland” mark Misha got ten years of Ineligibility for that during the match, punched a referee in the face.
The incident occurred during the final match of the Australian youth Hunter Rugby Union League between the teams of “Maitland” and “Newcastle”.
18-year-old Misha received a red card from the judge Niklas Gaal, then could not resist and powerful shot almost knocked down the referee, who did not expect to meet such aggression on the part of the player.
“I’ve never seen anything like that in the League. We consider unacceptable such behaviour is, therefore, used such severe sanctions. Now the other players will behave exactly discreet,” said General Manager Hunter Rugby Union Andy Fairfull.
Misha not only received ten years of Ineligibility, but was later arrested by police, who presented the athlete of assaulting a man.
It is also known that Misha fully admitted his guilt and may appeal the decision on such a long suspension.
