57-year-old resident of Madrid, Spain, Carmen Jimenez was pretending to be blind not to talk to friends and family, whom she accidentally met on the street.
Carmen says she never was a social outgoing person, so came up with the “eye injury” to avoid contact with people.
“I’m just tired of random encounters with friends and family, greetings and conversations that drag on. I’ve never been a very sociable person, and my blindness is great help to avoid such social obligations”, – sauleda it.
Relatives of the Carmen note that knew about the lie when the woman turned toward the TV or suspiciously even applied makeup.
State 28 years to pay Carmen allowance and now, after the exposure, her case will go to court.
