A relative of the head of the NACP blocked in the apartment of detective NABS

Officer wanted to give husband’s mother Natalia Korchak a summons for questioning as a witness.

Mother-in-law of the Chairman of the National Agency for prevention of corruption (NACP) Natalia Korchak in the evening of 10 November, closed in the apartment of detective National anti-corruption Bureau (NAB), who came to present her as a witness, a summons for questioning.

According to NABU, the woman expressed a desire to be interviewed on the spot and invited the detective into the apartment.

After questioning at the time of signing of the Protocol, she called her son (husband of the President NACP), and then refused to sign the Protocol and locked the detective NABS the apartment from the inside and hid the key.

Later she Korczak husband arrived at the scene of the incident. She confirmed that the mother-in-law called her husband and told that testified, signed the Protocol.

“This is a man of retirement age, so she’s not always aware of their procedural rights,” − said the head of the NACP.

She added that she’s worried, was observed by detectives NAB all the rights of the mother-in-law.

“I asked her to close the door now I’ll be on Netpolicy, journalists and we speak the legal language. My husband and I came and came a whole unit of NABOO to rescue one detective (who remained in the apartment with the mother-in-law − ed.),” said Korczak.
