In Germany, where recently presented a train on hydrogen fuel are going to extract hydrogen from water to use it as fuel. There he built a powerful station, which accumulates the energy of sunlight.

This complex has a rather prosaic view – field with solar panels. But the main design is the tower, equipped with 150 searchlights. It generates all the collected energy into light.

“I’m standing in front of a huge simulation of the sun’s unique size. Thanks to it you can use light in industry, that is, to generate energy in such a quantity that was previously unavailable,” – said project Manager of the Institute of Solar Research Kai Wieghardt.

All the light is concentrated in one point and is able to heat the surface up to three thousand degrees Celsius. If a person comes into the room when going to work this lamp, it will burn up, says Bernard Hoffschmidt. And he adds: at full power the artificial sun until dispersed.

“Because we can control the station at 700 degrees, at this level it works. But then the station can work as a powerful energy station – without coal, oil or gas,” said the Professor, Director of the station, Bernard Hoffschmidt.

Scientists using heavy duty lamp plan to extract hydrogen from water. This element is called the fuel of the future. This process is at the experimental stage. On them – I estimate it will take at least 10 years.
