The new smartphone Honor Magic 2 will feature technology based on graphene.
Vice-President Honor shong Jungmin said that the new smartphone Honor Magic 2 will feature technology based on graphene.
Apparently, Honor Magic 2 will have a battery with a graphene substrate.
When gadget was partially presented at the IFA exhibition in 2018 in Berlin, it became known that the phone will be equipped with baselevel display mechanism for cameras of the type “slider”. In Honor also noted that the product supports 40-speed charging technology, called Magic Charge.
Now we can expect a new lithium-ion battery with the use of heat technologies based on graphene. Huawei, the parent company of Honor, said that the use of such technology enabled lithium-ion batteries continue to function in conditions of temperature 60° C, 10° C above the normal limit.
In addition, graphene is able to twice extend the life of lithium-ion batteries compared to the batteries of modern smartphones.
It is also likely that Honor has found a way to use graphene in the cooling system to maintain low temperature of the device while performing heavy tasks such as games. Studies have shown that graphene is better as a cooling material than other currently used materials. It is also cheaper and thinner, which means that the phone can remain thin.
It is expected that Honor Magic 2 will be presented on October 26 and will get a new chipset Kirin 980, fingerprint scanner on the display, and display with almost no frames.
