Writer John Wagner debuted very powerful. Published in 2011 the novel “Bongosero” received a lot of positive reviews from critics and readers alike, was nominated for the biggest Russian prize (including to the “national bestseller”), translated into a dozen foreign languages. The story of a terrible pandemic sunk into the soul and filmmakers, which bought the rights to produce a mini-series. In General, noise condition notably.
Two years later, the world saw a sequel titled “real people”, and now Wagner decided to tell a completely new story. In there novel “Who is not hidden”, and the official abstract says:
This is the story of nine friends arriving on a snowy mountain top. They’ve known each other forever, they are successful, happy and ready to have fun. But in the morning it turns out that the freezing rain left them without communication with the world. It would seem that such an adventure! That’s just near the entrance lies one of them pierced by a ski pole. All that remains is to light the candles, pour a whiskey and watch each other’s eyes.
It’s a Thriller where everyone is only afraid of himself. Detective, which doesn’t really matter who the culprit is. Psychological drama, which pulled to the surface all the old wrongs.
Description reminiscent of a cross between posh “Hotel Dead Mountaineer” by Strugatsky brothers and the disastrous “Hotel Owns” Tarmahsev. What happened with Jana Wagner know very soon. Those interested can already look in the nearest bookstore.
The novel was published as “AST” modest circulation of 2000 copies. Cute cover included. Apparently, the cold winter evenings, this book will be very helpful.
