Electronic sensors respond to the percentage of utilization of waste and signal the garbage
In the Hague, Netherlands, has introduced a digitally controlled landfills: sensors in containers signal when they are full.
This saves resources, because the trucks go for service only full containers.
Every day in the Hague emit about 500 tons of household waste. For recycling, the city has about 7 thousand containers.
However, the question whether to empty them twice a week has become quite acute and resulted in an unusual technological experiment.
