A major fire broke out on the territory of the furniture warehouses in the village Balotesti Romanian County of Ilfov near the Romanian capital.
As informed by the provincial Inspectorate for emergency situations, fire covered about 10 thousand square meters, reports the correspondent of UKRINFORM.
“To extinguish the fire involved 16 fire brigades, but their work is hampered from coming inside the warehouse premises explosions of cylinders with paints”, – said the press-Secretary of the Inspectorate, Daniel Vasile.
According to the Secretary-General of the interior Ministry of Romania Raed Arafat, the fire engulfed three of the hangar with finished furniture products, all products are destroyed by fire. The citizens of the nearby houses are recommended not to leave their homes and tightly close Windows.
