A group of Ukrainians in the Czech Republic is unusually celebrated independence Day

The citizens of Ukraine decided to climb to the highest point of the country.

On the occasion of state flag Day and Independence Day a group of 50 Ukrainian and Czech friends pignalosa the highest mountain of the Czech Republic – Snezhko. This was reported in Facebook the coordinator of projects public organization “Ukrainian European perspective” Galina Andreitsev.

Participants climb on top of the unfurled Ukrainian flags, one of which was written the wishes of Ukraine and was photographed. Signed flag activists intend to convey to the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic.

The Ukrainian community in the Czech Republic one of the largest and oldest Ukrainian Diaspora, which totals about 100,000 people. The organizers of the climb was organized by international public organization that unites Ukrainian around the world, “Ukrainian European perspective” and information portal, social network Ukrainian who live, learn, work and play in the Czech Republic.

The Snow mountain with a height of 1602 meters, is one of the symbols of the Czech Republic, located on the border between the Czech Republic and Poland.
