A deadly shooting on the beach in Poltava: fresh details

The shooter killed a man defending himself from the attack of others.

In a shootout on the beach in Poltava, was wounded 24-year-old man and a boy of seven. Another man died on the spot.

“Previously it is established that among the tourists there was a conflict situation, which developed into a fight. During the fight the two companies, the 22-year-old resident of Poltava against the group of attackers who struck him blows and fired from a subject similar to a pistol, fired several shots at the attacker. The latter died on the spot. Another 24-year-old man and a seven year old boy were injured and taken to medical institution”, – said the police.

The shooter is detained and gives evidences to militiamen.

On this fact opened criminal proceedings as regards 1 article 118 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (premeditated murder at excess of limits of necessary defence or when exceeding measures necessary for detention of the criminal) and part 4 of article 296 (hooliganism committed with application of weapons). Pre-judicial investigation proceeds.

Recall the shootout on the beach “Dubljanin” took place on August 10, around 19:30. According to preliminary information, the perpetrators shot dead a man rented a beach area and owned a store. To it from the other end of the beach a man came up, between men there was a quarrel.

After it, one of the participants of the conflict are gone, but soon returned with armed reinforcements.

In the course of a new conflict the owner of the store fired the shotgun in the chest of the offender, who soon after being wounded died.
