A daring robbery in Kiev: the bandit attack on elderly woman

The robber was detained in hot pursuit.

The duty of Obolon management asked the woman: at the Minsk Avenue she was robbed by a stranger. At the address arrived promptly avtopatruli and investigative team.

This was told in GU NP of Kiev.

The victim said that the offender pushed her, snatched from the hands of the bag and fled. According to the woman, the bag was forty-six hryvnia and personal belongings. She described stranger, so the police immediately started searching for him.

Police took less than an hour to detain the suspect. During surface inspection, he discovered other people’s belongings and the money he found in the bag of his victim.

The attacker was 37-year-old native of Lviv region. The man confessed to the crime. Militiamen detained in order St. 208 Criminal procedure code of Ukraine.

On this fact the investigative Department began criminal proceedings under part 2 St. 186 (robbery) of the Criminal code of Ukraine. The sanction of article provides till six years of imprisonment.

The offender is reported about suspicion in Commission of crime. The question on election to it measures of restraint.
