In the category of Best horror novel (the Prize. August Derleth) this year was presented to “kill The Dead” familiar to us as Ramsey Campbell, however, won by Paul George. Direction with the book “Disappearance at Devil’s Rock”. Sorry old Ramsey, but it is likely the competitor deserved.

But in the other category was the first Adam Neville, another author of the domestic series “Masters of horror”. And, judging by the developments, the main author. “Judgment day” had been published, recently screened “the Ritual” on the way, and there to the “House of small shadows” by hand.

Neville grabbed the award in the category “Best collection”, as he overtook Joe Abercrombie. Win writer brought the book “Some Will Not Sleep: Selected Horrors”. Although in Russian this compilation of officially unreleased, some of the domestic stories the reader is familiar. For example, “Where do the angels” graced the anthology “the Horror” by Stephen Jones, and “Puppet hands” and “Ancestors” with permission, published in the online journal DARKER in the lovely translation by Vladislav Geneva. Who knows, maybe this award will encourage the editors of “Masters of horror” to the publication of another book, Neville.
