A Chinese artist has created a unique car-amphibian

Chinese built amphibious vehicle for rescue from floods.

. Xiong Jian, a Chinese mechanic and inventor, used their knowledge to free time to build a car-amphibian, using parts of old cars and vans.

According to the specialist, to carry out tests earlier in an automobile engine often got water, in that regard, he decided to move it back. The installation is in place of the rear seats and is also part of the Luggage compartment.

“At first, the car engine was in front. But in the amphibians in the engine compartment can get water, which is not very good for the engine. So I moved it to the back of the machine. Then, based on a specific car, I just calculated the level of immersion, which is 20 cm,” – says the inventor.

Unusual car-boat can carry four passengers and reach speeds on the water exceeding 32 km/h. According to mechanics, it can move in the opposite direction. Given that the vehicle is constantly being improved, Xiong Jian hopes to achieve the water speed 40 km/h and make the car less noisy.

Despite the time-consuming exercise that Jian has the support of his wife: “it’s his hobby, and I have to support him to do what he likes,” she says.
