In the Spanish municipality of Havana (in the province of Barcelona) Thursday, July 6, unknown persons opened fire from a gun and wounded two police officers.
Police aimed to arrest the shooter, who fled the scene. According to preliminary data, the suspect barricaded himself in the house.
Local authorities said that the incident is not related to terrorism. “According to available information, the incident in Gava is not associated with terrorism,” – said the interior Ministry of Spain.
In the shootout two policemen were injured 50 and 62 years, one of them seriously wounded in the neck.
