8 iPhone may lose wireless charging

One of the most popular rumors related to the next generation of Apple’s smartphone, is the question of the existence of wireless charging.

Analyst at JP Morgan shared their data related to the technical side of the issue.

According to him, Apple is working with Broadcom on the implementation of wireless charging for the iPhone for two years, but he was not sure that she will be the practical implementation in models by 2017 because of fears the battery in the background of the scandal with Samsung Galaxy Note 7 (although according to the official version, overheating and explosions were not directly related to wireless charging).

In addition, the specialist also mentioned glass as the priority material for iPhone with wireless charging. According to him, the glass reduces signal interference compared to the metal. We will remind, recently Apple included in the Wireless Power Consortium.

Perhaps cooperation will help the team Apple and Broadcom to obtain the necessary confidence that they debacle of the Galaxy Note 7 will not happen.
