EU countries will work together to develop weapons and other military projects.
Policy of Russia on the one hand and the withdrawal of Britain from the EU on the other has accelerated the movement of the rest of the EU countries to integration in the military sphere. On Monday, 23 EU countries signed an agreement on military cooperation.
Part of the press and politicians like to call such initiatives and steps of the EU countries “the creation of a European army”, but until something similar to the pan-European armed forces far – although signed on Monday the document and is a step in this direction.

Under the agreement signed on Monday a program of Permanent structured cooperation (Permanent Structured Cooperation PESCO) the EU agree to join efforts in the development of weapons and other military projects, and, eventually, after a long legal and military training – to provide for the disposal of the EU combat units in addition to the peacekeeping force.
