Senegal became the first African team won the world championship in Russia.
The lions opened the scoring in the 37th minute when Polish defender Thiago Rangel Cionek failed and not the most dangerous by a long shot. Goalkeeper “Frames” Wojciech Szczesny could only look to hold the ball in his own goal – 1:0.
The second time the ball in the goal of Poland was no less curious way – forward “Torino” M’baye Niang, returning after injury, suddenly found himself broke one on one with the goalkeeper, bounced past him the ball and sent a round into an empty net.
The poles led by star Robert Lewandowski for the entire match vouchsafed only to a few dangerous attacks. At the end of the match Grzegorz Krychowiak after filing with a penalty kick pulled one back, but to avoid defeat Poland did not.
Senegal on June 24 for the lead in group H will play against Japan, and Poland on the same day, will meet Colombia.
