2018 Ukrainian students will study according to new state standard of Ukraine, which provides for integrated education.

Since September first in the 100 Ukrainian schools will operate a pilot project of the Ministry of education. Training for first graders will be integrated.
According to the Minister of education and science of Ukraine, Lilia Grinevich, every day at school will be themed. For example, if the theme of the day “spring primroses”, it will be lessons in reading, science, art and mathematics. This, in particular, will develop a perception of the world of the child
Themes for training in the integrated courses will be to choose the teacher with the children. Teachers can respond to what is happening around them and to encourage children to observe the real world, and not just the one that is in the books. Teachers will also discuss with them about the challenges directly faced by the students, – said Lilia Hrynevych.
In addition, first graders will work more in groups and doing collaborative projects. The reform of primary education provides training outside the school room.
That the program has earned in practice, more than 22 thousand teachers are now undergoing special training. According to the new GOST will learn the students of primary education who starts school in 2018.
