So, according to the Kyiv city state administration, from July 15, the fare is more expensive in the metro, buses, trams, trolleybuses, funicular railway and city train.
In particular, the cost of one trip by bus, tram, trolley, cable car established in the amount of UAH 4 (was 3 UAH). A trip to the Metropolitan today will cost UAH 5 (4 UAH). When using a non-contact plastic card the price of one trip in the metro will range from UAH 5 (when adding on 1-9 trips), up to 4.5 UAH for replenishment for 50 trips. The cost of a single ticket for the city train will be UAH 5.
As reported in the metro, passengers can use the green tokens as means of payment until July 31. Also during August the green tokens can be exchanged for a fee or in proportion to the stations “Maidan Nezalezhnosti”, “Polytechnic Institute”, “Darnitsa” and “dorogozhychi.”
September 1 tokens green cannot be exchanged and money will be refunded.
Acquired before the change of rate of travel tickets will be valid until the end of their validity period. Recorded trips on a contactless card can be used six months from the date of entry or last recharge of the card.
KP “Kiev underground” from July 15 will sell in their offices one by one token in one hand, because the tokens were gradually being removed from circulation.
In addition, the CP “kievpasstrans” will raise the cost of travel in public buses for UAH 1.
